I almost think the Masq has been quieting down the sound in general lately. Unless I'm just imagining that, I think it's a bit of an improvement. And Cannibal Corpse always delivers. I do not get tired of that band...don't care what anyone says. Xeroderma did play twice in Purgatory. Once just before Cannibal Corpse and a couple of songs just after.
I was right in front and still couldn't really hear the backing vocalist for Hate Eternal.
I was incredibly impressed with Unearth(i thought they'd be mediocre), and Cannibal Corpse was worth every fucking cent. Didn't see the knocked out girl, but i did hang around a couple of girls that mixed it up in the pit the entire time CC played, and someone broke my belt trying to get up. Annoying, but shit happens. I'm glad they played more tracks from Kill this time around...
Stuck around to the end of Hatebreed's set, and to quote a friend of mine who went with me, i respect to the fullest what they do, but it's not something that's normally my thing. I get why they have a huge fanbase, and that guitarist Wayne is awesome, but i'm not a chant kind of guy...
